The Lutron Sivoia QS Roller 100 is the heavy-duty counterpart to the Roller 64 within the Lutron Sivoia QS motorised blind family — the system specified when the glazing span, fabric weight or both exceed what the Roller 64’s 64mm tube can accommodate reliably. Its 100mm aluminium tube carries heavier fabric loads across wider spans without tube deflection, and the higher-torque motor maintains consistent, smooth motorised operation regardless of the fabric weight in the tube. At maximum fabric widths of up to 5,500mm, the Roller 100 addresses the large-format glazing spans common in commercial office facades, hotel atriums, high-specification residential developments and contemporary homes with principal glazing that spans the full width of a room.
Like the Roller 64, the Roller 100 communicates natively with the Lutron QS wired processor via the proprietary Lutron QS protocol — a single cable per blind carrying both power and data to the motor. No bridging device, protocol adapter or separate power feed is required. Full bidirectional position feedback means the Lutron processor always knows the exact position of every blind, enabling percentage-position scenes, fade commands and conditional automations that depend on accurate blind state — capabilities that bridged non-Lutron motors cannot reliably deliver. From the Lutron system’s perspective, the Roller 100 and Roller 64 behave identically — both are native QS shade devices available for the same scene programming, keypad control, app control and automated scheduling.
The Roller 100 is made to measure in the full range of Lutron Collection roller blind fabrics — blackout, dim-out and solar screen at 3% and 5% openness — and is available in the same hardware finishes as the Roller 64. As an authorised Lutron dealer, we supply, specify and install the Roller 100 across Poole, Canford Cliffs, Sandbanks, Bournemouth and the wider Dorset and South Coast area. We work directly with AV integrators from the design stage on all Lutron QS shading installations.
For standard residential window widths within the Lutron ecosystem, the Lutron Sivoia QS Roller 64 is the appropriate specification. Contact our team for a free site survey, fabric samples and specification advice across the full Lutron Sivoia QS range.

FAQ
What is the Lutron Sivoia QS Roller 100?
The Lutron Sivoia QS Roller 100 is the large-format motorised roller blind in the Lutron Sivoia QS range. It uses a 100mm aluminium tube with a higher-torque motor to carry heavier fabric weights across wider window spans than the Roller 64 can accommodate, with fabric widths up to 5,500mm as a single system. Like the Roller 64, it communicates natively with the Lutron QS wired processor via a single cable carrying both power and data, providing full bidirectional position feedback and seamless integration into all Lutron QS scenes and automations without any bridging device. We supply and install the Lutron Sivoia QS Roller 100 across Poole, Canford Cliffs, Sandbanks, Bournemouth and the wider Dorset and South Coast area.
What is the difference between the Lutron Roller 100 and the Roller 64?
Both are Lutron-native motorised roller blinds in the Sivoia QS range using the same QS protocol, single-cable wiring architecture and bidirectional feedback. The difference is tube diameter, fabric width capability and motor torque. The Roller 64 uses a 64mm tube and accommodates fabric widths up to 4,300mm — the correct specification for standard residential window widths. The Roller 100 uses a 100mm tube with a higher-torque motor and accommodates fabric widths up to 5,500mm — the correct specification for wide-span commercial glazing, large residential windows and any installation where the Roller 64’s tube would deflect under the fabric weight across the full width. From the Lutron system’s perspective both blinds behave identically — the choice between them is determined entirely by the window width and fabric weight at the specification stage.
Why does tube diameter matter for wide-span roller blinds?
A roller blind tube spans the full width of the window opening, supported only at each end by its brackets. Across wide spans, the weight of the fabric wound onto the tube — combined with the weight of the tube itself — creates a downward force at the centre of the tube that causes it to deflect, or sag, visibly when the blind is raised. On a narrow window this deflection is negligible. On a wide-span window it becomes visible as a bow in the bottom bar and an uneven fabric surface. A larger diameter tube has a significantly higher section modulus — it resists deflection much more effectively for the same span — which is why the 100mm Roller 100 tube is the correct specification for wide glazing where the 64mm Roller 64 tube would produce visible sag. We confirm the appropriate tube specification for each window width and fabric weight during the pre-installation site survey.
What fabric types are available for the Lutron Sivoia QS Roller 100?
The Roller 100 is available in the Lutron Collection roller blind fabrics — blackout for complete light exclusion in bedrooms and media rooms, solar screen at 3% and 5% openness for glare and solar heat management on south and west-facing glazing, and dim-out for privacy and light reduction in living areas and offices. All fabrics are made to measure and confirmed to the specific window dimensions following the site survey. We hold fabric samples and advise on the most appropriate fabric for the specific glazing orientation, room use and light control requirement during a free consultation.
