In bottom-up operation, the blind raises from the bottom of the window to cover the lower portion — useful for ground floor windows where privacy from outside is required at the lower section whilst maintaining the view and natural light from the upper section. Top-down bottom-up combines both, allowing the blind to be positioned at any point in the window independently from either end.
