The Silent Gliss 2360 is an electrically operated roman blind system combining the soft, structured appearance of a professionally made fabric roman blind with precise motorised operation, programmable stop positions and smart home integration. Controlled via the Silent Gliss Move app, remote handset, wall switch or smart home automation, the SG 2360 delivers the aesthetic warmth of a fabric blind with the programmable light control and convenience of a motorised system.
As an authorised Silent Gliss dealer with our own in-house workroom, we supply the SG 2360 as part of a complete motorised roman blind service — measuring the window, selecting the fabric with the client or interior designer, making the roman blind in our workroom to the confirmed specification, installing the motorised headrail and commissioning the motor and control system. The entire scheme — mechanism, fabric, making, installation and commissioning — is managed from a single point of supply. The SG 2360 uses the same motor variants as the SG 4960 electric roller blind, including the Series 50 Smart motor for Move app integration and the Series 40 for radio remote control, and is compatible with the same range of smart home platforms.

FAQ
What is the Silent Gliss 2360 electric roman blind?
The Silent Gliss 2360 is an electrically operated roman blind system combining a motorised headrail mechanism with a professionally made fabric roman blind. The motorised headrail drives the blind to precise programmable stop positions via a 24V DC motor with smooth progressive start and stop, and is controlled via the Silent Gliss Move app, remote handset, wall switch and smart home systems. The blind itself is made to measure in any specified fabric — unlined, lined, blackout-lined or interlined — in our in-house workroom, and is installed and commissioned as part of a complete single-supplier service. We supply, make and install the Silent Gliss 2360 across Poole, Dorset and the South Coast as an authorised Silent Gliss dealer.
Why specify a motorised roman blind rather than a motorised roller blind?
A motorised roller blind and a motorised roman blind serve the same light control and privacy function but produce very different visual results in the room. A roller blind presents a flat, taut plane of fabric — clean, minimal and architectural. A roman blind presents a series of soft horizontal folds when raised — textured, warm and fabric-rich in a way that contributes to the interior scheme rather than receding from it. For principal bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and hospitality rooms where the window treatment is a key element of the interior design, the roman blind’s folded appearance often better suits the warmth and material character of the scheme. For rooms where minimal visual weight at the window is the priority — studies, home offices, contemporary open-plan spaces — the roller blind is more appropriate. We advise on the most suitable system for each room and client during the site survey
What smart home systems is the Silent Gliss 2360 compatible with?
The SG 2360 uses the same motor variants as the SG 4960 electric roller blind — the Series 50 Smart motor for Silent Gliss Move app and Smart Gateway integration, and the Series 40 motor for radio remote control without a network hub. Smart home integration is available for Lutron RadioRA via RF Bond, KNX, Crestron, Control4 and Savant depending on the motor variant selected. We work directly with AV integrators from the design stage to confirm the correct motor variant, wiring requirements and commissioning sequence for the specific control platform, and attend joint commissioning sessions to confirm each blind’s stop positions within the smart home system.
